Beautiful property, very well located on the river. Breakfast was probably the best of my whole trip (cycling through france staying at 10 different places). The host is kind and knowledgable.

We like their gardens and dining room (permitted only during breakfast). The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. I liked their upstairs windows (and being able to open the blinds to let daylights in). Felt cozy and warm. I love that there are two bathrooms, one with shower that was easy to turn on/off and stocked with clean towels (thank you!). I like the privacy of 2nd floor where my family slept. They also provided board games and snacks on shelves which were a sweet touch despite the awkward entrance. While we are used to American fares (bacon & egg), bread breakfast was interesting (lots of breads!) I guess that's the French way of living! The husband was very friendly and helpful during our check-out. Appreciate his efforts at communication.

At first time we saw this chateau we were slick with it appearing. It looked like an abandoned house with very old and poorly maintained. We wondered if it be able to live. However, when we got inside, it almost different story. Newly renovated with high quality but still retaining the 19 century atmosphere. The bathroom was very well equipped with nice old style new fittings. The breakfast was exceptionally quality and choices.
