Everything. Last minute booking (day before) nad we were delighted. Gorgeous little spot. The pub was fab, the meal was great. Room had everything - plenty of space and a comfy bed - all we needed for one night as we were touring the area. Have stayed in 15+ place over the UK in the past month and this was the best in terms of value and how nice it was.

Exceptional stay at The Dog Inn! We loved everything about our stay. The inn is in a quaint, charming location with a cozy pub that locals frequent, giving us a real feel for the community. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There’s a lovely outdoor area with picnic tables, and the location is perfect, just a short walk to High Street. Such a warm and welcoming experience. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely oldie worldie pub with great off-street parking. The rooms were lovely and clean and bed was very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and polite. I would definitely stay here again!

The Dorrington Hotel and Bar is located just a 3-minute walk from Halstead town center. Braintree Freeport Shopping Center is just 7.5 miles away.

We had a late check in and had to check in at the bar which was pretty busy but the staff were very welcoming. The room was larger and more comfortable than we expected. Seems like it’s in a great location.

We had a lovely one night stay at Old Thatch Bambers Green. The unit was clean and very well equipped. It had everything you needed and more. Big thanks to our lovely hosts, Angela and Steve, who were very helpful and even went out their way to make sure that we are happy and satisfied.
