I had a lovely stay. The room was comfy, the staff were friendly and I loved the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup which I had for breakfast there.

The guest house offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hair dryer, free toiletries and shower. The guest house features certain units with sea views, and all units include a kettle. The units include a wardrobe.

Just short walk up the hill from the train station, nice white colour guest house. No noise inside the rooms, the property being next to the busy road, even see view from the window! We love Dawlish, but never stayed the night here before, so it was very pleased surprise for us to find this lovely place which gives warmth and homely feel. Spacious room, large comfortable bed, lots of pillows, big TV screen, tea and coffee making facilities, even bottled water and fridge. Bedside tables with plenty of drawers, open wardrobe with hangers, hairdryer, suitcase rack, chair, seat by the table, bible on the bedside table, box of tissues. Small shower room, but accommodates all sorts of towels, even extra one for hands by the sink and air freshener (many hotels forget about this), shampoo, shower gel, conditioner - everything is though about, couldn't wish better. Hosts very welcoming. You could see they put them heart and soul into it. Place has reception lounge and licensed bar. Definitely stay there again.

The Thornhill offers bed and breakfast accommodation meters away from Teignmouth's sandy beach. A selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and the rail station are within a 5-minute walk from the property.

A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival. Too early for checkin. All our luggage taken from us and stowed until the alloted time, traveling from Turkey, we had quite a lot!! Our room was perfect and beautifully decorated along with the whole hotel. Breakfast was yummy, and more than enough. Was even given a complimentary hand wash after asking where it was purchased from. We would have no hesitation staying again and making recommendations to our friends and family.

Housed in a 17th-century building, this guesthouse is situated in the quiet Devonshire fishing village of Shaldon. Rooms have views of the courtyard or river and come with free Wi-Fi.

Rooms at the Potters Mooring Hotel are individually designed and have large en suite shower rooms. They feature digital TVs, radios and tea/coffee making facilities.

The attention to detail is very impressive. Very clean place with a frig that had milk and water. The breakfast delivery to the room was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The Ness House Hotel is a Georgian property, built in 1810, on the outskirts of Shaldon village overlooking the Teign Estuary and only a stone’s throw from the beach.

20 yards away the Smugglers Tunnel can be found, leading you down to the secluded Ness Beach, sheltered by the Ness Cliff. There is a ferry which runs between Teignmouth and Shaldon and fishing at the mouth of the estuary is popular year round.

Lovely, large room with a little balcony overlooking the sea view. Pub was great for a meal. I loved the short story pamphlets left beside the bed and nice little touch with the complimentary drink voucher. All made it feel special. Only stayed a night as we were hiking the coastal path but it was definitely one of our better stays.

Summerwind Guest House is situated in Exmouth and is just 3 minutes walk from the beach and marina.

Each room comes with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. You will find a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer. Summerwind Guest House features free WiFi.

Full English or continental breakfasts are available at cafés just a few minutes away.

We booked to stay at Summer Winds at very short notice, late in the afternoon, having been badly let down by a different guest house in the town. Our host, Sue, could not have been more friendly, helpful, attentive and considerate. She responded immediately and brilliantly to our situation and, at the drop of a hat, provided us with a lovely, clean, comfortable room. The room was cosy, with plenty of tea/coffee supplies and a small fridge, a nice touch which we found very useful. The ensuite shower room was spacious, well set up and extremely clean. The guest house is very well located in a quiet road just a three minute walk from the marina, and Sue's genuinely friendly, personal touches made our stay really enjoyable. We can't recommend Summer Winds highly enough. We'll always use this terrific guest house whenever we are in the area.

Beautiful location, fantastic scenery, beautiful old farmhouse with the most amazing hosts you could wish for. It's more than a b and b but not quite self catering, just brilliant. Geoff and Andrea are great hosts. Thanks for a great stay.

It wasn't 5 star luxury but I didn't pay for that...it was very good value for money, it was clean, towels/tea/coffee/bottles of water provided in the room. Toilet & shower close to room. Staff very friendly & welcoming. 5 mins from beach & shops. Friday entertainment in the pub below which was good & was all quiet just after 11am. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely stay again.
