Every little extra had been thought about. Nothing was too much trouble for Jo our host. The breakfast was excellent, the welcome very warm and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The room was comfortable and every little extra we could have needed was there!

This was a really cool place— the castle is stunning. I wish we’d had more time to look around, but we only stayed one night. The rooms are pretty basic, but very comfortable— good bed, warm shower, and lots of space. Nice little touches, too— they left little biscuits for us, coffee, etc. The coolest part was this: when we booked this room 3 months ago, we accidentally were given a rate that was MUCH lower than normal— literally £100 cheaper than normal. I contacted the property, and sure enough, it was a mistake on their part. I would’ve fully understood if they didn’t want to give it to me for the mistake price, since I had months to find another place. But they honored the price, even though it cost them a hundred pounds. I was impressed. Just nice people. :-)
