This was such a wonderful place to rest after doing the Coast to Coast path. The host was wonderfully welcoming and helpful and the room was so beautiful. We very much enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful room, absolutely love the bathtub. Breakfast in room was such a nice touch.

It was closely located to restaurants in the town and had a convenient Tesco across the road.

Just half a mile from Grange-over-Sands Rail Station, The Grange Boutique Hotel offers free parking and a central Lake District location.

We have stayed here before and will be visiting again. Nothing is too much trouble and you’re met with a smile and made to feel most welcome. Room first class, slept so well. Can certainly recommend Hotel and the area.

Our absolute favorite place to stay in the Lake District. Great character and staff. The location is central but off the beaten path so it’s quiet and peaceful

Our room was beautifully decorated, the shower room was exceptional, the bed really comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. The staff were wonderful, Gillian was especially good, she couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast in the dining room was superb, lots of choice and beautifully cooked with delicious pastries. Both the dining room and the sitting area in the hall had log fires which added to the atmosphere. There was limousine service to and from Cartmel in the evenings. There was also a mini bar in the room and unlimited coffee and tea. Dogs are welcome in some of the rooms. The complimentary glass of champagne on arrival was a lovely touch.

The room was lovely and overlooked the historic part of Cartmel. Walking distance to all the fine dining restaurants and several good pubs. The owner Rachel was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming as well as very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay not a good breakfast though cold

The Cavendish Arms is a 450 year old coaching inn set in the picturesque village of Cartmel. Located on the outskirts of the English Lake District, Morecambe Bay is just 11 minutes’ drive away.
