The staff was friendly and kind. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The local people in the pub were friendly. We met Reg and his dog Charlie. There were many dogs staying at the inn. The town is darling. One of our favorites. Highly recommend.

We stayed here back in August and it was just perfect, beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Robin was so welcoming and attentive, I would highly recommend this place and hope to stay again one day.

Everything rooms were beautiful, friendly helpful staff, great view of the river , meal and breakfast so nice food was lush we shall be back Malthouse!!

There are so many things to like about the Library. The room we stayed in was a jewel, cosy yet elegant with an extremely comfortable bed and a well appointed bathroom. We had access to a surprisingly large and private garden. Breakfast was generous and delicious and our hosts were helpful and welcoming.
