Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

The room was big and new, with 3 comfortable beds for 4 people, a sofa to watch TV and a bathroom on the room. Self service breakfast was included, which is very convenient. The location is close to the bus station and easy to reach the airport or the city center, by bus and tram. There is also a huge parking just in front of the house. We have a great stayed in the Anytree guesthouse, which we highly reccommend.

Lynne is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like you are home. The room was large, beautifully decorated and the facilities excellent. The bus into Edinburg is on the same street and a 15 minute easy trip. This was our last stop on our trip around the UK and we could not have chosen a better place. The Scottish breakfast is to die for, and Lynne’s generosity giving us the treats we simply could not fit in to take away for morning tea was a generous, lovely and unexpected touch.

Breakfast was adequate. Could have offered more fruit and some boiled eggs, instant porridge. Coffee was good. Muesli, toast, yogurt, cornflakes, packaged pastry goods and oat breakfast bars available.

Amazing house and perfect location - 40 min by bus to Edinburg. There is a bus stadion just next to The house - line no 3 that goes directly to The city center.

Comfortable, host was very pleasant. Continental breakfast was good with boiled eggs. Bus service into and from Edinburgh was excellent. Would stay again.
