This was the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Reasons for that were easy parking on a nice gravel spread in front of the house, tea and cake on arrival, spotless and extremely comfortable room (the whole place was very clean and well looked after), top quality breakfast and a very welcoming and attentive hostess.

The place was amazing. Lovely room. Great view of the water. The breakfast included haggis and kippers for the adventurous! The town is tiny, which itself is lovely. The castle is also beautiful.

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbor-side.

WOW. Breakfast was beyond expectation. Absolutely wonderful , every ingredient cooked fresh and to perfection by Pauline. Also a lovely display of fresh fruit and cereal. etc Pauline served a magnificent breakfast . Pauline was a WONDERFUL HOST. helpful, attentive, accommodating and could not do enough for guests. This stay was an unexpected little spoil on our journey to Isle of Islay (only 15min from the Ferry Port) - Everything superseded any expectation we could have possibly had had. Andrea (and Kat) nailed this one. To top everything off...Andrea is an incredible chef and spoiled us with the most delicious 3 course dinner and morish breakfast. Bonus - all the ingredients used are self-grown. Absolutely Perfect! If you are in the vicinity - please go visit them. I promise it will be worth the trip. 10 STARS!!!!!

It’s well located less than a minute from the main street and loch. The room was an excellent size, breakfast and off road parking were great. Jim & Ele made us fresh coffee for our flasks.
