The room was very comfortable and cozy. The welcome just as warm (included a candy welcome :) ). For a night along the Francigena, it was perfect. Even better was the provided breakfast. It included extra proteins! Scrambled eggs and fried bacon to go along with the thinly sliced ham and cheese standard. This was a very rejuvenating stay for me.

We had an amazing view from our large suite! The onsite parking was a huge plus, especially compared to having to find public parking in/around the small village. We also enjoyed the fun art in our room and around the property. The property manager, Rodolfo, was extremely flexible and accommodating when we were held up with rental car issues and our expected arrival time changed by several hours.

I enjoyed the location on the piazza of Monteriggioni, right in the middle of the castle. In the video game, Assassin's Creed 2 this is where the villa of the protagonist was. The hosts were superb, kind, and informative. The breakfast box was plentiful. Great base for our explorations of Tuscany.
