Our stay here was wonderful! Carmine was an amazing host. He contacted us before our arrival with instructions and helped us a lot with restaurants recommendations and activities. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was comfortable, cozy, and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with hot bread, croissants, cheeses, and olives along with cappuccinos. Some tips: There is a back terrace for smokers so if you are bothered by smoke, ask for a room further towards the entrance. Also, climbing the stairs with luggage might not work for some folks. And taking the local bus is easy but plan accordingly because most of the city center is not accessible by vehicles so the bus will still be a walk.

Very quiet at night for sleeping , enjoyed a lovely breakfast with plenty of everything. No problem getting a pot of tea in the evenings when we requested it. . .Hotel hosts were very friendly and helpful. Great location near train station, restaurants and all the beautiful sights of Florence. . Would definitely recommend Hotel Merlini for a stay in Florence.

A nice place to stay in Florence with a great location. It's so close to the city centre but in a really quiet street. Has a small supermarket right next to it and some great restaurants around. The staff was really responsive. The apartment is a bit dark but the facilities are good. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious, and the ACs worked well.
