Nice location and kind hosts, but the organization needs improvement The location of Nostra Signora del Lago is very nice and peaceful, and the host, along with the rest of the staff, was well-intentioned and friendly. Breakfast was good, and overall, the place has potential. However, I must mention that I felt quite unsure about the booking until the moment of check-in. Even though I confirmed my arrival both via Booking and WhatsApp, I later received a message with a reservation for September 3rd, which I had not made. I had to send a screenshot of my original confirmation from Booking to clarify. Then I was told my reservation had been canceled, which was also incorrect. Eventually, after another clarification, everything was sorted out. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception, the lights were off, and it looked closed. After calling, someone came and completed the check-in. It’s also worth noting that the place doesn’t seem to be a main business – the pool had mold along the edges, the yard was unkempt, with leaves on the ground and signs of neglect. Again, the staff were kind and welcoming, and I truly believe that these are issues of organization that can be improved with a bit more attention. The place has charm, and I hope things will get better in the future
