The foods were real good and you can feel the warm welcome from obaa-san. The dog there also cute even though he’s quite an old pup already. The place is really nice. quiet and full of nature, I wish I could stay more for like a whole week and do nothing. Futon and Kotatsu were also really comfortable.

The owner is a very nice person. The rooms were renovated and it had a very unique atmosphere. It used to be the house of a medical doctor, adjacent to his hospital. Three buislings, all have a unique character. Nice kitchen. We came off season but usually there is a coffee shop on the facilities, too.

Nice accommodation in a small town. ~40 minute walk to the nearest Supermarket or about 10 Minute drive!! But very peaceful ✌️ 😌. The Awa-Handa train station does have limited stop so probably better if you drive but it wasn't a problem for me!

We were doing the Henro hike. We booked this last minute. They were very helpful with getting our laundry done, which was a major concern. Very quiet and the bakery next door was top notch.
