I was very happy staying at the Lake Cabin. Everything was excellent. Waking up early to the sounds of birds, sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise, eating breakfast, and watching fishermen on the lake. Perfect!!! I felt relaxed and enjoyed every minute.

This place is made with love, this is a real home outside of your own home, where you are a valued guest. when you meet the host, you’d definitely like to stay more. The room is the same as on the photos, Wi-Fi connection was good. The wild life around the property is great - we have seen deers, fireflies, monkeys, lizards, birds and their nest. In the evening we enjoyed the talks about everything with our host as he is a great companion. the special thanks to home made breakfast and dinner!!! During the dinner the first time I found the difference between spicy (when it is about taste of different spices) and enjoyed it vs spicy that I tried before and it was only about a fire in your mouth). I would really wish this place to flourish and attract new guests. Whenever I need a time for myself in nature I will definitely come back here again!

Stayed in a room for 1 adult with a full bed, and it was fantastic! The garden view from our room was so serene, and the air-conditioned room was a blessing after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Free WiFi worked perfectly for sharing our trip photos. The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!
