This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are incredibly friendly and the room was spotless. Our cooked breakfast was delicious, whilst overlooking an amazing view. My daughter especially loved the farm tour! Thanks for a great stay!

The house was in a residential area, away from the town centre, but the sliding gate meant cars were off the street and secure. The breakfast was nice but only choice of cooked breakfast was scrambled eggs on French bread, but they were a little cold.. Nice choice of home made yogurts, and also nice homemade bread. The large TV 85" in the lounge was available to watch, and I was as able to use my account access to log into 'Sky sport now' and watch my favourite football team win 6 - 0. !!

    Wow Punawai is an exceptional bed and breakfast with friendly hosts . Very private room with your own guest lounge with amazing lake Taupo views and luxury wallace cotton linen to cocoon you in the extremely comfortable bed . Off street parking and easy Uber ride into town if needed. Home made treats and continental breakfast with yummy Bircher muesli was great to start our day.
