I loved everything about this house. I also loved the fact that it was right across from my cousins house and two door down where my grandparents and my mother lived. It was such a great idea location for everything I needed to do. Tony was amazing by way.

The nicest lady is the host, not very much english though. Great location in town across from the Terra Nostra. Free parking close by. Pool in the summer looked nice.

Organized by Pete with a small number of people attending from different hotels or accommodations Pete made the experience feel like a wonderful dinner party. The meals were nothing short of spectacular—fresh, flavorful, and bursting with creativity. Along with the fabulous food, Pete took us on a journey through Portugal’s finest wines with his deep knowledge and passion for both the wine and the cuisine of the Azores. Every tasting was a masterclass in flavor, leaving us in awe of the culinary craftsmanship and wine wisdom at Idonea. Beyond the beauty of the location and the food, it was Pete’s gracious, friendly hospitality that made our stay extraordinary. He made us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived, offering expert advice on where to explore on the island and ensuring that we were always comfortable and cared for. We left feeling so fortunate to have found Idena for our September getaway—it truly exceeded every expectation. If you’re lucky enough to stay at Idena, prepare to be swept away by the beauty, the incredible food, and the warmest hospitality from Pete and his team. An absolute 10 out of 10—an unforgettable stay!

The staff was exceptional. Friendly and very accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed extra nights because it was so pleasant.

Great little place to stay. Would definitely book an ocean view next time- the street view is loud as no AC so we slept with window open to get air. No body soap luckily we brought our own. Rooms are basic but CLEAN.. There is a shared kitchen that you can use. Cute town to walk around in and we stayed on a Monday- only 1 place in walking distance to eat that was open.. Friendly and easy check in..

Clean room, equipped kitchen, you may pay for a private bathroom, the other one is shared with other quests.
