Our stay at Chalets des Vacances was amazing. The crew was very nice and helpful. The room was big, clean, had a full kitchen and everything 2 adults and a 4 yo child might need. We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt at home. You must have a car, we drove around the island and saw all the beaches. We has dinner there twice and the food was delicious. It's a bit hard to find on Google maps, look for le reduit restaurant, it's right next to it. Threre is a nice 15 min hike down the hill through the forest and some local houses, to get to Takamaka Beach. A local named Dariel that lives close and is the son a lady that works there, took us on a 45 min hike to the Rock pool, which was amazing. It was free of charge even though I offered to pay for him guiding us. I tried to find the was by myself but couldn't find it. Even though the rock pool looks beautiful, I don't recommend swimming there since once in a while, even during low tide, I big wave can get in and pull you out. We had a great time and I highly recommend the place.

Rita was a great host and went out of her way to Accomodations my needs. She welcomed us with lemon water from the garden. Rita was so nice and gave us rides to the beach/ restaurant. At the end of my stay my friend had left earlier than me and I was a solo traveler. Rita made me feel very comfortable and safe. I had a late evening flight and she allowed me to store my bags and take a shower before flying out. The property is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is set up well and we were able to make some of our own meals. It is was 8 minute drive from the airport. It is a short drive or 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

Everything was just great! The location is right at the beach front: at the lovely terrace you can hear beach waves! The rooms are huge! Beds are comfortable. We were impressed by everything: staff so friendly, cleanliness: everyday they cleaned the rooms properly, changed towels, bed linen and brought us water without even asking. We made our booking including breakfast. Breakfast is delicious! It’s absolutely worth it! You get it every morning into the room, by previously preordering the things you’d like from the menu. Btw every room has an espresso machine with coffee pods, that they also bring everyday. And in general, the rooms include small details that make a difference while you are on vacation, you can tell the the owners do take care of their visitors! It make you feel really welcome!

    We had an amazing time at Takamakasky. Grego is super attentive. Loved the breakfast with an explanation of the „fruit of the day“. Grego organized airport pick-up, rental car and a bus pass for us. Also, he offers free laundry. Beautiful beaches are nearby. We didn’t gave to worry about a thing, it was great. If you are looking for five-star-service and the atmosphere of a small, family-run guesthouse, this place is for you. Since there is only three rooms, it very cozy and quiet.

    Vey luxury private villas. We witnessed twice sea turtle breeding at the beach. The private beach is so clean that you could get to see cute hermit crabs on the beach and beautiful fishes by snowkling. What I love the most is shower à l’extérieur that reminds me of a Japanese 温泉♨️ Very fast wifi speed
