Adorable property in old Madina section of Mahdia. Very nicely renovated and looks even more pleasing to the eye than the pics. The Madina is great to walk around early for pics and seeing daily life start to the point with lighthouse. Great courtyard with a restaurant, less than 5 minute walk.

We had an amazing stay at Dar Jamila. It's right in the center of everything, yet it feels incredibly tranquil with its absolutely stunning view of the sea. The place itself is beautifully decorated—classy and ornate without being over the top. Our room was super comfy, with all the essentials like great AC, a mini-fridge, and a spacious balcony to enjoy the peaceful views. Plus, the water pressure was on point, which you don’t always get. Brahim, the host, was super welcoming and even offered to do our laundry, which was a lifesaver. The breakfast spread was top-notch, loads of choices and all delicious. Easy parking too, which was super convenient. Overall, it's an excellent spot with great value. Highly recommend Dar Jamila if you’re looking for a place that combines the excitement of the city with a serene escape.

We had a lovely room with even a bit of a sea view. The house itself is gorgeous, with mosaics on the walls of the inner courtyard and even in some of the rooms, and there are antiques everywhere! The managers are extremely nice and provided us with a marvelous breakfast. There was free parking quite close by, too.

Words can't describe this amazing property or the generous hosts. As a seasoned traveler, I have to say this place was almost magical! The sheer beauty of the house, the hand-carved decorations and tiles, the exquisitely charming ambience...it's an experience worth paying for even if you don't stay there! Added to that was the generously prepared breakfast buffet, with organic fruits and honey and a wide variety of food items, lovingly made by our hostess! Honestly, the experience was so good that we would not even think of staying anywhere else when we return!
