For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The view from the balcony is amazing! The apartment is located in a small town where locals live (not a tourist area at all). The hosts was very nice and helpful. We had a car so it was very easy to get to and from the apartment, not sure as far as trains and taxi. The apartment is about 20 minutes from Montreux and about 50 minutes from Geneva (by car). We would definitely recommend staying here.
