The bed is extremely comfortable, and the space is cozy and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and different every day – a lovely surprise! There are several good restaurants, supermarkets, and gas stations nearby, which is very convenient. Carole and Paul were outstanding hosts, always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. It was an amazing stay in every way!

Simple but delightful rooms with the most amazing incredible views of Arenal ( lake & volcano) . Delicious coffee, breakfast and supper. stayed for 3 nights which was just enough ( 2 would have been too short as so much to do in the area) .

She gave us a great breakfast, helped us to figure out where to visit (hot springs, volcano, and ziplining). The location was outstanding. You can see both the volcano and a bit of the lake below, since you are perched up on a hillside. The patio was so very cool as well: swings, hammock chair, tables constructed from shipping pallets. All very sweet looking. If we ever come back to the area we will DEFINTELY stay with her again.

Hotel Nepenthe B&B offers free private parking. Stunning views, infinity pool looking over Lake Arenal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Onsite restaurant was very convenient and the food was delicious. Variety of breakfast options. Highly recommend.
