Boutique hotel, reasonably priced, locally run, on edge of Santa Maria but easy walk to town centre. Close to beach. Quiet and relaxed. Food in the evening excellent. Warm and friendly staff, very helpful. Room was large, simply furnished with local touches, very comfortable. Clean and pleasant. Pool never too busy. Overall, as a couple without children, so much nicer than being in a huge anonymous resort that sends profits overseas!

Great hosts, great facilities, great location

The breakfast is fabulous. The owners, Milu and Walter are very nice and extremely warm, ready to help with anything. Staff is always helpful as well. The property is at the far end of Santa Maria it is very quiet, which is great if you enjoy a peaceful relaxing location. Nearest surf/wind spot is 2 mins (right in front of this place), nearest beach 5 mins. City center is 10-15 mins by walk.

Great location, nice private garden and pool. Rooms were comfortable with enough space. The resort itself was a bonus, great pool.

The information and communications from the owner were very good and the apartment is in a great location with a pool, beach, and sea view and only a short walk to either the beach or the many restaurants, cafes and bars in town. It was quiet, except for the sound of the surf on the beach, and had all the facilities we needed. The pool was never crowded, so we were always able to find sunloungers and relax in the sun.
