I stayed here on my second night of this trip and have been thinking of it every day since. The dinner was a spectacular bargain, 11 euro for a bottle of wine, appetizer (I think I had soup), main (there was a choice of beef cheek or pork cutlet with potatoes--to be honest I which I'd gotten the beef but the pork was also good, and dessert--i had basque cheesecake. Breakfast was also a great bargain with eggs, ham, bread, coffee and a piece of cake for 5 euro. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view and was a good temperature.

The linen, clean towels, and there is also shampoo and shower gel. In the kitchen, everything you need for cooking, and each shelf in the refrigerator is numbered for each room. The host was responsive and answered any question, including tourism-related ones. I also liked a shelf with books and an album about the area, the comfortable sofas inside, and the sun loungers with a mountain view outside. If I take each compartment, I can write a story. The host is really good.

The tiny secluded village, the beautifully restored building from three different epochs and Louis the perfect host. Everything embedded into stunning landscape and nature. If you want to let your soul unwind, this is the place! Quiet, calm and relaxation pure. What else can you wish for? Louis is such a nice and friendly host with really excellent cooking skills. The freshly made breakfast is delicious and if ask him for a dinner he will be happy to cook something amazing for you. Don’t skip on that! Anyway, thanks a lot for everything Louis! Note: huge cars might need to take the parking space on the village entrance.

This is a beautiful little hotel in the mountains. It is very close to Potes, but you still feel like you are in the mountains. The building is a very old renovated house that has that old Spanish charm for sure. The breakfast was included and had lots of options from 8-10am everyday.

It was early in the season and after 6pm so Bulnes was super quiet and peaceful. Alberto greeted us for dinner - a very friendly host who gave us a really warm welcome. His wife, Elena is an amazing chef and prepares everything to order so it is home cooking in the very true sense. We had dinner, breakfast and late lunch the next day after we returned from a hike. Alberto and Elena made us feel very welcome. I really hope to return some day. This was truly memorable. The location is superb, very peaceful and very comfortable.
