Our stay at B&B Clos Emilion was nothing short of wonderful. Nicole and Kurt are exceptional hosts, making us feel instantly at home with their warmth and hospitality. The property itself is beautifully designed, offering a perfect mix of comfort, elegance, and spotless cleanliness. The facilities are fantastic, with Kurt’s extensive wine knowledge and impressive collection available for purchase—ideal for any wine lover. The location is also perfect, with vineyards and the river just a short stroll away, offering scenic walks through the stunning countryside. Nearby towns, only a short drive away, provide fantastic dining options, though we were lucky enough to enjoy dinner with Nicole and Kurt on one of our nights. They cooked an incredible meal, and their company made for a truly memorable evening.

Convenient and beautiful location perfect for stopping on our way back from Spain. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts. As did our 2 dogs :-) Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk our dogs straight from the door, round lovely streets and semi rural tracks with views of the mountains. There was a communal area where we could make tea and coffee and there was a fridge and microwave. We were invited to eat our own food there if we wished. Our room was dark and quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. The hosts went to extra trouble to provide a vegan breakfast for us which we really appreciated.

Safe private parking. Tasty breakfast served at the private terrace. Quiet location but still close to the cities. Very attentive host . Will come back next time for a longer stay.

Aurelie couldn't have been nicer - so helpful and lovely. She sent me WhatsApp messages and a picture of the front of the accommodation as there wasn't a number on the front gate as well as a detailed guide for activities and places to visit. There was parking outside the front gate and the area is nice and quiet. The accommodation was superb - beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and a real treat to have pancakes with fruit & honey. We walked (about 10 mins) to a nice little Italian restaurant for dinner that evening. It also does take-away which you can bring back to the accommodation.

Many of the original features connect modern convenience to its original historic existence. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. It is a great location to commence the Camino in the historical town of Saint Jean Pied de Pont.

A wonderful stay in a Périgord castle full of history, which was superbly renovated by a passionate and friendly host couple—we highly recommend!
