The owners were very friendly and helpful. we were given a nice drink on the patio when we arrived home to get ready for dinner. A lovely place.

The history of the chateau, as told by Rafeal, was fascinating. The large room and bed were wonderful after our long, cramped flight. And the relaxed chatty breakfast on a rainy morning was equally excellent!

Situated in Saint-Girons-dʼAiguevives, 40 km from Matmut Atlantique Stadium, La Closeraie Saint Girons features accommodation with spa facilities and a solarium. My room was beautifully furnished, in fact the whole of the property was just gorgeous. I didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. Having access to a kitchen and small enclosed garden was great for my dog and a much bigger garden was available too. Having soft drinks and beers from the fridge included was another unexpected luxury. Breakfast was wonderful, really attractive and lots of it too. I would love to go back again and stay longer. I’ve no hesitation of recommending this for a lovely stay.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Château Bonalgue - Pomerol is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Libourne, 32 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge. We loved everything! The Chateau was gorgeous and the rooms stunning. Looking out our window at the rows of vines was just magical. The facilities were very tasteful and had everything we needed for a perfect visit. We enjoyed the breakfast and our wine tasting as well. The staff were lovely. Many thanks x
