The property was recently refurbished, with 3 rooms in different styles. We were a large group renting all the three rooms and were all very happy with our accommodation. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and even prepared cakes for us on our arrival. We had a fantastic breakfast in the morning and could walk along the river afterwards.

The house is exquisitely decorated in a sumptuous 1930s style with excellent attention to detail. The room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a huge bathtub! We had such a lovely time here. The host had excellent recommendations for all over the region. We also loved sitting with the beautiful plants on the patio.

It was a wonderful experience to stay in an actual chateaux. The hostess had some books out with histories of the chateaux in France, so we were able to learn about where we were staying. She also greeted us when we arrived and gave us a walk through of the spaces open to guests. She stayed to chat with us for some time after. It was a nice way to welcome guests to the chateau. Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast. The coffee was amazing and I had a full pot of water for tea.

We LOVED our stay with you and our only regret is that we could not stay longer - we were meeting friends in Tannay for a canal boat trip on the Nivernais - which was also wonderful. Special thanks and commendations to Justine(?) - the delightful and very gracious young woman who greeted us and showed us around. She's a gem!!! She suggested a dinner place, made a reservation for us, and it was fantastic! Breakfast was fabulous and we loved being on our own, getting to meet other guests - we hope to come back another time when we can stay longer!! We liked everything about the house and our accommodation. Fanny has been very friendly and accommodating. The house is gorgeous and our room was very comfy and quiet. There are lovely views on the surrounding countryside. The bathroom was very well equipped and was of a high standard. We would love to come back! Thank you Fanny!
