The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Aberley house is really interesting place in a beautiful historical location near Cross beach. The house right next used to be owned by the owner of White star line and nearby house the captain of the Titanic. This place breathes history and we felt a real English atmosphere here. Jonathan is a wonderful and caring host. He prepared us a delicious breakfast and explained everything to us patiently. In the evening we had the opportunity to play darts and snooker and Jonathan showed us his collection of vinyls. The house is large and historic so there was a little cooler but that was no problem as the room is equipped with one more portable heater. (And I’m cold everytime and everywhere :)). Thank you for a lovely stay and if we ever return to Liverpool Aberley house will be our definite choice.

The hosts, Jenny and Gary, were extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and was quite spacious and well-equipped. There is free parking on the property, which is located in Hale Village, a peaceful rural setting with a pub that served very good food. There is a very enjoyable walk from the village to a lighthouse on the River Mersey. Access to the center of Liverpool is easy by bus, so we left our car at the house during our stay. We would highly recommend The Barn to anyone wanting to explore the Liverpool area.
