Corran Bunkhouse 5 stars

Onich

Corran Bunkhouse is set in Lochaber near Onich, on the banks of Loch Linnhe. This charming property offers rooms set in a former bunkhouse with a steam room and kitchen. Free private parking is available on site for all guests. I really liked the place: it was like an hostel with a kitchen and a large common area, but our room has all the comfort of an hotel room with two beds and a rare gift: a shower tall enough for me! We also found some welcome food in the room which was a nice touch. The staff showed us around the place when we arrived, which I did appreciate. The parking is right outside the entrance, there's not a lot of spots though so try to grab one for yourself! Just outside you can take a ferry (free if you don't take a car) which will take you to a restaurant on the other side of the lake. The common areas were great for a bite and for the breakfast. Add a really good WiFi, and you get a really neat place to stay - especially for larger groups!
