Clifden is only a 10min drive so you're still close to shops and restaurants, but nature is right on your doorstep. We were received warmly by the host, Lydie, who gave us information about the area and showed us the room. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there were home made jams, almond coconut paste, chocolate paste and caramel. So tasty. Also a selection of fresh fruit and of course pancakes or full Irish. All in all we had a great time and loved our stay!

The town of Oughterard had a few nice Pub's and a grocery that was well stocked. Our host Christian was great and his new puppy Emily couldn't be more adorable

The dogs are lovely and playful. The location is just amazing, especially if you have one of the rooms overlooking the lake, really beautiful sunrises there! The rooms are very spacious. On our arrival we had a delayed flight and the hosts were kind enough to receive us way past the check-in hours.
