I have no complaints—everything was perfect: a great location, delicious breakfast, and a friendly host.

This guest house is non-smoking and soundproof. Great property, so new we could smell the fresh paint! Room was cozy and very well designed with a window seat looking out to the hills and the horses. Bright, spacious and comfortable common room and incredibly well equipped shared kitchen. Hopefully guests will take care of it all so that it stays so beautiful. Loved the location midway between Gulfoss Falls and Geysir, 5 minutes from both. Highly recommended.

Room is nice and cozy, size is sufficient for two grownups. The kitchen and dining area, as well as the common use rooms and outdoor zone definitely makes up for the size. Very, very clean and quiet. Easy check in and check out. My question regarding ironing board and iron was answered promptly, which I greatly appreciate. In short, would recommend.

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 47 km from Geysir. The cottage is perfect it has everything you need. We had a great stay. It is very clean and well equipped. The host was always ready to help and nice. We would stay again at this cottage.

There is also a well-fitted kitchen in some of the units equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave. At the guest house, the units have a private bathroom. We had such a wonderful stay at the Old School House. Honestly, part of me wants to gatekeep this place – but of course I won’t. As a half-Icelandic person, this has definitely become one of my new favorite spots to stay in the countryside. We loved the garden, which was open for everyone to use. We actually ended up staying in for both dinner and breakfast, even though we had plans to go out and eat at restaurants. But the garden was just too cozy – we couldn’t resist. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and had an amazing evening watching the sunset. The kitchen and bedrooms were super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Iceland. Magnea and Greg were so lovely and welcoming. You can really feel that they care and want you to have the best stay possible. 10/10, would recommend!:))
