This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

We arrived extremely late in the evening so contactless check in was very appreciated. We also liked that the staff had put a notice which rooms are ours. That helped a lot for us tired tourists. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Liked the art and the little interior objects. This place is someone's gem they cherish and maintain. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. Used it to prepare proper breakfast and did some meal prep for the road.

We had a great stay. It is very clean and well equipped. The host was always ready to help and nice. We would stay again at this cottage.

Location was beautiful and quiet, perfect for my first night in Iceland after a long flight. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in while traveling. Beautifully decorated, felt like home. The massive outdoor garden porch space was covered, protected from elements, thought I was lucky with sunny weather. I wish I could have spent more time in this area. Kitchen was more than fully stocked, plenty of space and very clean. Wonderful hosts.
