Bright, spacious and comfortable common room and incredibly well equipped shared kitchen. Hopefully guests will take care of it all so that it stays so beautiful. Loved the location midway between Gulfoss Falls and Geysir, 5 minutes from both. Highly recommended.

After a long drive, we checked into our beautiful apartment and were able to chill in the lagoon. The hosts let me check in earlier- that was very kind of them! Beautiful rooms with a shared kitchen. The 1-bedroom Varmi Guesthouse Apartments & rooms all have a seating area with a sofa bed and TV. Each has a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. We were not able to reach the apartment as the road nb 1 was broken due to glacier flooding. road was cut for 3 days, something to keep in mind when traveling even if extremely unusual (1100km round trip to reach airport) BUT we give a 10 rating as the owners kindly refund us for the night which covers the costs of another place on the road

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 47 km from Geysir. The accommodation has everything we needed. The host is very helpful and accommodating. The location was fantastic- central to all the attractions in the Golden Circle.

There is also a well-fitted kitchen in some of the units equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave. At the guest house, the units have a private bathroom. We had such a wonderful stay at the Old School House. Honestly, part of me wants to gatekeep this place – but of course I won’t. As a half-Icelandic person, this has definitely become one of my new favorite spots to stay in the countryside. We loved the garden, which was open for everyone to use. We actually ended up staying in for both dinner and breakfast, even though we had plans to go out and eat at restaurants. But the garden was just too cozy – we couldn’t resist. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and had an amazing evening watching the sunset. The kitchen and bedrooms were super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Iceland. Magnea and Greg were so lovely and welcoming. You can really feel that they care and want you to have the best stay possible. 10/10, would recommend!:))

Alexander was incredibly pleasant and sent us a personal message to say that we can have an early check in and if we needed anything. He made sure to keep in touch. The facilities, cleaning, beds, shower were impacble. Also the location and price was perfect for high season in Iceland. Do not hesitate it was our favourite stay Iceland (: thank you for everything!
