The island itself is stunning and, as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe the entire time. The local bus service runs smoothly, making it easy to reach even the more distant beaches like the famous Rabbit Beach. It runs every hour from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., which makes exploring the island both simple and stress-free.
