The home is a perfect blend of modern and traditional - the tatami mats were pristine, the design was thoughtful, and we loved the kotatsu. The location was wonderful - on a quiet street, steps away from a convenient Family Mart, and just a short walk from Oharaimachi St and the inner Shrine (the highlights of our whole trip!). We love this spot and hope to stay here again in the future :)

There is also a kitchen you can use in addition to the bathtub, which I appreciate a lot because I was really cold. The (chief?) priest was very friendly and he can speak English well. The temple is right next to Ise Sea Paradise and Futamiokitama Shrine and is very close to Hinjitsu-kan, which is a must-go! So I hope you'd choose to stay here. I was told I can stay until whenever I want so it's great that I can sleep in.
