Direct beach access, a nice refreshing pool under the canopy, plenty of secluded places to chill in hammocks and sunbeds. Very family-friendly. Fantastic hosts and good rooms with AC. It is a windsurfing beach and no beach boys are harassing you. We loved every minute of our stay and will try to visit again.

Pucci house is a lovely, small guesthouse with pretty gardens and in a residential neighbourhood not far from shops and eateries. Alex was a very attentive host, gave me tips for the area and organised transportation back to the airport. I found Jua room really comfortable and furnished to a high spec, overlooking the communal gardens. A lot of care has gone into the design and furnishings of the guest house. Breakfast was simple and nicely prepared by a lovely woman in the property. Having both an overhead fan and AC was really great as the heat is quite something in Watamu! So relaxed and quiet with wonderful staff (especially Seline). Your stress levels just disappear as soon as you arrive! Swimming pool was a great way to cool off after being out for the day. The room was big and comfortable, no mosquitoes. Food was delicious! It is a mile or two from the beach but you can get there in a tuk tuk easily. The beaches and snorkeling are stunning and Gedi ruins are also well worth a visit.
