The room was very nice, on par with more expensive places we stayed throughout our trip. We were only here for one night but it was a perfect place to stay. Very convenient location to explore the Medina.

Very clean and peaceful place to stay, centrally located in the medina, the family who owns and operates the riad is so welcoming, helpful and kind.They also offer dinner, which we did have and would absolutely recommend doing! It was flavorful, authentic and filling. Overall an excellent place to stay and we will absolutely be back next time we are in Rabat!

We only stayed one night at Dar Si Hmed, and honestly, it was far too short. Our host, Nasr, was incredibly warm and welcoming—you immediately feel like you're visiting an old friend. This is a true family riad, and Nasr is happy to share stories about his home, which has been in his family for generations. We were given a fantastic room—authentic, full of character, and beautifully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the stay. Breakfast was amazing, with all the pastries and even the bread homemade by Nasr’s wife. On his recommendation, we visited Chellah, an ancient Roman and medieval necropolis in Rabat, which we hadn't originally planned to see. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip, especially watching the storks nesting among the ruins. A wonderful stay—highly recommended!

The Riad itself is beautiful and clean. Room is very well equipped and clean. Staff is very welcoming. The whole place is calm and quiet. I felt very safe staying as a female solo traveler. The Riad location is fantastic. Very close to everything!

This is the best location you can stay in Rabat. Right next to the Oudayas, you cannot go wrong by staying here. I have stayed in very nice hotels around the world, but the welcome that Rachida gave me was incredibly warm and truly unbeatable. She greeted me with a nice cup of tea, cookies, and a cold bottle of water. Breakfast is provided by the restaurant next to the hotel and is very complete, with three kinds of bread, an omelette, honey, olive oil, strawberry jam, water, tea, coffee, and orange juice. Thank you, Rachida, for making my stay in Rabat so special!

Communication with the owners was very clear and helpful, they really take the time to make sure that initial booking is clear and smooth and also they come to chat with guests every morning in order to answer questions or just simply to interact and share their culture, top travel tips and be generally friendly. The breakfasts are fabulous and filling with refills if required, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the experience of being in a Riad is incredibly quirky.
