A private entrance leads guests into the bed and breakfast, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. The property has an outdoor dining area. Loved our stay and that the fire was already on when we arrived after a rainy hiking day.

Alsion had already setup the table for breakfast the next morning, cereal, croissants, milk, juice, butter, jams ..... use of microwave, fridge, washing machine.Gas fireplace made it very cosy and our son was super happy to have the extra TV channels to watch the football world cup. Unfortunatly only stayed one night so did not see much of outside ameneties of the village but would have happilly stayed 4-5 days extra ... specially due to such a wonderfull, welcoming, helpfull couple, Alison and Ron !

The bed was comfy and we had all the amenities we needed. The hosts, Alan and Susie, were kind, engaging, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home!

Free WiFi and a shared kitchen are featured. I stayed at the National Park Alpine Lodge for two nights for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and found it to be great value for money. The cleanliness was good and I especially liked the common areas and the kitchen. The bathrooms and toilets werde nice as well.
