Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

Ubicado a a pocos pasos de Playa Carenero, RIVA B&B ofrece un jardín, salón compartido y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. desayuno impecable! frutas deliciosas con cereal, cafe, tostadas, jugo! todo freso. El lugar es impresionante, desde el balcon ve estrellas de mar, manta rayas, peces. Es muy fácil ir a la isla principal 1$ por persona. max 1 min de barco. Ania es genial y siempre te dará consejos, las habitaciones son limpias, insoladas, y todo de excelente calidad. LLevate tu anti insectos porque en todo Bocas del Toro hay mucho que te pican... Un beso Ania!! seguramente volveremos.

El Oasis Bluff Beach se encuentra en la playa Bluff, a 6 km de la localidad de Bocas, y ofrece vistas despejadas a la playa y al océano. El alojamiento alberga un bar. El alojamiento es maravilloso ! Ubicación inigualable ! Personal increíble respetuoso y atento a todo . La habitación excelente con todo lo necesario para un gran descanso . El restaurante es espectacular . Todos los días varía el menú

Carmen's place está ubicado en Bastimentos y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al jardín, un jardín, salón compartido, una terraza, un restaurante y un bar. Staying at Carmen’s was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into her home. The place is beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, a lovely dock, and a lush garden perfect for relaxing. The facilities are excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the warmth and hospitality of Carmen and Marcel. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, always with such kindness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant—a perfect way to start the day. And in the evening, Carmen’s home-cooked dinners were a treat—she prepares the freshest fish of the day, and all the guests gather around the table to share a meal and great conversation. Carmen was incredibly helpful with everything, from tending to a blister on my foot to organizing day trips. This stay was more than just accommodation—it was a truly memorable experience. I can’t recommend it enough!

El Barrbra BnB Over The Sea, situado en Bocas del Toro, es una casa de 2 plantas construida directamente sobre el mar. La casa tiene 4 habitaciones en la 2ª planta. BarrBra is a very special place - Marco, Hiyam and Rey are the kindest hosts and make you feel like coming home to family. The terrace on the water invites to relax and cuddle the cute dogs and cats living at BarrBra. The atmosphere is calming and our room was simply stunning with a huge private balcony where we would relax in hammocks and listen to the sea. Everything was super clean, breakfast was home-made and included with an extraordinary service. Thank you for the great experience and wish you all the best!

El Tesoro Escondido Guest House se encuentra en Bluff Beach, a 5 km de Bocas Town y a 26 km de Buena Vista. El alojamiento alberga un bar. Hay wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Right on the sea, you go to sleep to the noise of the surf. Nadia and Salvatore are great hosts. Food is excellent. There are not many places to stay directly on the sea but this is one of them. Don't miss out.

Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast, ubicado en Bocas del Toro, a 5 minutos a pie de Playa El Istmito y a 1,8 km de Playa Y Griega, tiene alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, bicicletas gratis y... Nicolas was a very friendly host, and the breakfast—freshly prepared every day—was absolutely delicious, with a choice of five different dishes. This is the ideal BnB for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. The free bike provided by the accommodation made it easy to reach the city center in just a few minutes. It's worth noting that the rooms are not serviced, but I personally didn’t find that to be a problem. Thank you so much for having me!
