All members of the staff would greet you and were willing to help. The beach in front of the property was cleaned of any trash or seaweed. Jay made the best White Russian I have ever had!

Boasting a private beach area, garden and views of sea, Sambag Hideaway Bungalows is situated in Moalboal, 1.4 km from Panagsama Beach. We really enjoyed our 4-night stay here and would happily return. Tricycle service was the equivalent of $3 eah way, to go into town and we felt like we made the right decision staying a bit outside, in this paradise. We recommend eating at JG's Grill which is a short walk away. We did this walk multiple times, even in the dark of night, with our 6-year old son. And always felt safe. Don't worry about the neighborhood dogs, they were harmless. Lisa and the team were extremely helpful! Air conditioning, internet and hot water worked great. The ocean view from the property is spectacular, with many different colors of blue. As well as the beautiful mountains in the distance, across the water. We loved kayaking just out front during high tide and exploring the reef for sea creatures at low tide. That was a highlight for our son! The Filipino breakfasts we enjoyed every morning were satisfactory as well. Everything felt like great value for what we paid.

We were in the middle of central Moalboal, so we can walk everywhere we want it. We had a private kitchen, hot shower, best WIFI and clean room.

200 metres from Basdiot Beach, Ananas Guesthouse is a recently renovated property located in Moalboal and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. I liked the location a lot since it is not in the busy and noisy street, it's only 10 min walk from it so you can have the best of both worlds. Simon and Mai and Loyd are very helpful and kind. Every morning they would cook fresh breakfast for us so delicious. We also got the tours booked with them which is a trustable way as there are many options. We had. A private room which was very spacious, comfortable and clean We had a great time! Thank you for everything!

Astillo's Guest Houses in Moalboal provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This guest house offers free private parking and a housekeeping service. Everything. It is cozy, colourful, comfortable and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and flexible. The room was clean, well thought through, and we had new sheets every day! Location is also great as it is walking distance to the only real beach in moalboal; white beach. You can rent a scooter at the guesthouse at a very good price. Most negatives of other people are really not a problem or it's due to their own fault. Within this price range it's a really good deal. Located in Moalboal, 300 metres from Panagsama Beach, Roos Guesthouse has a garden and a terrace. It also features a a bar and a seating/lounge area. We stayed 10 days at Roos Guesthouse and had from the minute we arrived to the minute we left a wonderful time. I highly recommend staying there. The whole staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Werner and Hanna (the hosts) checked daily on us and offered their help with anything we asked and could have asked for. They where always up for a good chat and gave us a lot of recommendations and information about the island and the local people/ the local life there. I think that’s what we liked most about our time in Roos Guesthouse. It has a really warm and homey atmosphere. Despite that there are a lot of further very pleasant features: they offer laundry service, massages, some tours to the best waterfalls and canyoning spots in Cebu. The breakfast in Roos Guesthouse is a all day breakfast, you chose when you want to eat and when you‘re out or short on time they prepare some sandwiches instead of the breakfast. The coffee was fresh brewed and very good as well. The room was basic but very nice, very clean and had everything we needed. A good working AC, a fridge and a private bathroom + hot shower. The guesthouse is located only a few walking minutes from the beach, but not directly on the main street so the nights where surprisingly quiet.
