Inside, the living room is cozy and welcoming, with incredible music playing — the hosts have fantastic taste. It’s the perfect spot to relax and gaze out over the valley. Kristof and Koenraad gave us a room with a balcony and a view stretching all the way to the ocean on the horizon. Everything was spotlessly clean and carefully arranged down to the smallest detail. Breakfasts were a real highlight — especially Kristof’s homemade pastries. Absolutely delicious! They also shared amazing local tips and recommendations every day, always checking in to make sure we had great plans and weren’t missing anything. Their care and attention were exceptional. I truly believe very few people in the world offer such kind of hospitality that Kristof and Koenraad do. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable for your vacation - this is the place. This place is in the middle of nowhere, but I’d still say it’s accessible for hikers like me. It’s definitely a unique spot. The property features a luxury-style pool that not only looks great but is actually clean and wonderfully refreshing. There are several chill-out areas with seating, along with shared facilities like a kitchen, bathrooms, and showers. The dorm room was well-maintained, with comfortable beds, individual power outlets, and reading lights. A truly special highlight was the alpaca tour – you can feed and pet the alpacas, and during the day or evening, it’s nice just to watch them from a distance. The place is also perfect for catching a beautiful sunset. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth and easy.

At the guest house, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. We had a lovely one night stay at Miguel's place. Quiet and safe area. Very modern, tasteful, clean and nice room. Bathroom is spacious and beautiful. AC works perfectly and runs quietly. Bed was super comfortable. The window door that leads to the patio has an electric shutter which provides total privacy in the room. Everything is new and well looked after. There are details like hangers to dry your swim suits and towels. There is a coffee machine and water cooker with tea and coffee on the common patio, which is decorated with nice furniture and plants. The host Miguel is very attentive. Beautiful Vila Nova de Milfontes is just around the corner, Porto Covo is 15 minutes by car. Check-in was comfortable, a video was provided which explained everything. We would stay there again anytime.
