Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

The location was wonderful....pretty scenery, quiet country atmosphere, but still close to town. Breakfast included a nice selection of items and the common area in the upstairs where we stayed had everything a guest could want....refigerator, freezer, cooktop, TV, sofa and chairs for lounging or visiting with friends or family. The internet worked really well and we appreciated that there was a parking area that was free to guests.

The main building is few hundred years old and if you meet Anders he may give you a good history about it! The romm in which the breakfast was served was also very nice and old school! The wooden sauna experience next to lake was unforgettable! I will come here again!
