Despite the atypical accomodation, there was nothing I missed on, and in fact, the whole thing turned out to be a memorable stay. George, the host, is a gentleman, and to the trained eyes, a knowledgeable sailor who takes good care of the ship. We've enjoyed our conversations with him, which came on naturally. What he did present us with in the beginning was good info on how to go about the town: directions, points of interest, the good places to eat out, local mentality, weather forecast, practically the whole package. I'll also commend him for managing to find the requested boat trip on very short notice, even in the after-season and even after we were no longer staying there. To keep it short, if the idea of staying on the boat is attractive to you, you definitely won't regret trying it out here.
