It has 2 rooms (one queen size bed and 2 twin beds), fully equipped kitchen, nice living room with great view. It is an original old house, so you get the authentic feel of old times! You get the entire house to yourself. The house is situated in the heart of the village, just in front of the stranopriemnica, so eating at a restaurant and reaching places is easy, yet the house is sufficiently distanced so to provide perfect calm and seclusion, because it is sitting on top of a small hill of it's own (there are about 20 steps leading to the house through the property). It has its own parking space.

We loved our stay. And it’s so beautifully quiet!! The house is very well renovated to accommodate contemporary amenities such as water and heating; it’s clean. The staff is very kind and values the preservation of the village which is inspiring. If you’re used to and expect a 4-5* experience it might not be the best fit because it’s not a hotel with staff available 24/7. It’s way better than a hotel in our opinion because of the immersion in history and culture (not everyone’s cup of tea).

The house is very well preserved and represents its era plus all the modern day conveniences. The interior is modest yet very comfortable. The view is breathtaking. It points either towards the woods or the quiet and picturesque village, located in the slopes of the Middle Balkan. The feeling of being there is magical! The house is surrounded by a big lawn, suitable for picnics, games or just lazy afternoons. The house is clean and tidy. The bathroom of our apartment was big and clean. The Wi-Fi connectivity was very good. There is a place to park a car inside the yard. We had a great time visiting the guest house and the village. The host was very kind. Took us to the house, showed us around and told us about the history of the house, the village and recommended places to visit. We recommend visiting Bojentsi village and the guest house. The village is like a live history! There are also trails and the area is suitable for trekking. There are many activities for kids or adults in the museum or around the village, ask upon arrival in the Information office or by phone in advance. Would be very happy to have the chance to visit them again!

    The property gives the vibe of the culture. The restaurant is good. Overall it is a good location. It is worth to see the small village and it is a very cozy place. Rooms were okay. Not cheap furniture. The staff was kind and thry provided a hair dryer when I asked them, but not an iron.

    The location was stunning. Quiet village, beautiful old buildings. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the food was outstanding. All fresh salads, vegetables and fish. Breakfast was simple but also delicious. Staff were friendly and polite and we loved the cats playing around the property.

    The house is located in a beautiful village and is surrounded by nature and other traditional houses. This creates unique atmosphere that makes you feel at home. For this also contributes the delicious food that they not only prepare themselves but also produce in their own farm. They served more than we could eat and were very friendly and talkative. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to charge with good emotions!

    We can't wait to come here again! The village is picturesque and the people are hearty and kind. Staroto Shkolo is perhaps the best place you can get an authentic experience in the Central Balkans in terms of location, nature, food, and hospitality. We felt like we were part of the family! We had a fantastic time chatting with everyone and enjoying the delicious home-cooked meals. If you're on the fence about getting breakfast or dinner... just do it. You won't regret it!

    Nice place, the whole village not only the hotel. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Very surprising and delicious breakfast, consisting in traditional hot cheese pies with yogurt and donuts with plum jam.
