I liked everything, especially our dear Cherry, who speaks very well english and helped us a lot with everything we need, also taking tickets at good price for National Park and others,explaining what to do there. The location is few minutes walking from the entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Lot of tasty and cheap food near hotel. Room clean, very nice, everyday change towels, give you free water, also coffee if you want. I am so happy i choose this one, and met her and her family. They are devotated and help you with all you need.Also help us book train tickets. Learn us how to come and go by bus, to be cheaper. It is 2 minutes from bus station. The area very nice to walk and enjoy. If i could, i would give more than 10.

Everything was great, Good location, The Property Manager Rebecca is very friendly, helpful, speaks English well (special thanks for her), the room is clean and size is very comfortable for solo or couple, generally it was really good experience, I would recommend the property for anyone coming to Zhangjiajie.

We had an incredible stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful, using a translator device to communicate perfectly. One staff member even helped us buy tickets for Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain and gave us a map that was absolute gold. Thanks to him, our trip was smooth and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I strongly recommend “Mr. Wally” and “Wally House”! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Wally proved to be an exceptionally kind, honest, and helpful host who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His excellent English was a huge advantage, making communication effortless—this alone might be one of the top reasons for native English speakers to choose his place. He was always accommodating, flexible with changes, and genuinely cared about his guests' needs. The location is another major plus—close to many scenic spots and hotspots in Zhangjiajie, including the Wulingyuan entrance to the National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, and the stunning Avatar Mountain. Beautiful and convenient little town next to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. We enjoyed the local cuisine at this hotel as well as at the restaurant next door. The hosts were so helpful and kind: booked our park tickets for us, shuttled us to the park, and gave us a little gift when checking out.

This is a family boutique hotel that turned out to be the best choice across my China Journey. Lucas, Eason and their family made the stay so welcoming and amazing for me and my mother if I could give 20 out of 10 this place definitely worth it! Lucas is an amazing owner of the hotel who speaks fluent English (very rare to find in China :). He has been so kind and have been continuously in touch with me during our stay in Zhangjiajie even before I arrived into the country, he has helped up with daily schedule for National Park hiking with very clear guidance and map in English which made the experience so smooth and enjoyable. Lucas was kind enough to help in arranging other trips I needed to explore the area apart from the National Park. We always used to get dropped off to the gate and picked up after whole day hiking. Food was very delicious and his family was kind enough to accommodate any customizations we requested for breakfast, lunches or dinners. Room was cozy and clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Since we visited during beginning of the peak season weather was quite good despite some showers it was not cold. Lucas was always taking care of us even in arranging needed urgent help to take my mother to the hospital in town when she had allergic attack while we were heading to another city and he has been continuously checking up on us until we safely reached the hotel. Lucas made so much more to make our stay feel almost home. I would definitely return to this place only if I have a chance next time!
