Hostess Vanessa is so caring, relaxed and cool, we immediately felt at home. The walk to the beach is a great adventure (15 minutes through the jungle), we were able to observe great animals almost continuously (monkeys without end!). Great breakfast, great view from the balcony, overall a very good vibe there. Supermarket and fine restaurants are right next door, we definitely recommend staying here for a few nights.

It's a very tropical old Costa Rica style resort. The river is nearby and there is a brook that runs along the road close to the cabinas so you can almost always hear running water which is very tranquil and soothing. The French owner is very nice and accommodating.

The casita was perfect with everything we needed to cook for ourselves if we wanted to and plenty of breezes coming through the screened windows. there is also a fully furnished, nice covered terrace for sitting outside. Loved the pool! Perfect for swimming laps or just relaxing. The hosts Alain and Johanne are lovely people, very helpful and attentive. Walking distance to the Village of Ojochal.

Location was perfect. The cicadas were in season, which was a bit overwhelming at times - screens would have helped. The fans kept the house cool, but meant the windows had to be open.

    Villas en el Bosque is a small piece of paradise on the pacific coast, perfect to stay if you want to be close to Uvita but with more nature around you, lovely people, delicious breakfast, beautiful ocean view. The service and hospitality was very good, we really felt welcome and at home with a very relaxed vibe

    The villas were clean, bright and welcoming. Vanessa and Nicholas, who run the hotel, were kind and so so helpful. The breakfast made by Steven was delicious- every day! The location was perfect- nestled in the jungle and close to beaches. Monkeys, a cute dog named Lafayette and a cute cat named Frida were often seen running, sleeping or eating. It was heaven.
