A quiet and peaceful retreat with exceptional staff, accommodation and food. We particularly enjoyed our rustic house set in a private courtyard with pool (shared between 4 holiday lets). Established flowering trees soften the environment. There's a bedroom with a large wardrobe, TV (never used it) with the separate kitchen and shower room is quite spacious. Shutters on doors and windows kept the rooms dark enough until you want the light in. The thick stone walls keep the room cool, even in the high heat and the AC is very efficient when needed. Simple and beautiful. Original with modern updates where needed. The large bed was very comfortable. The mosquito net was helpful but there weren't a lot of them to annoy. The kitchen had everything you need to be self sufficient with very nice dishes, glasses etc. The shower room is a good size, modern with good quality fittings. Good quality towels. Step out the door to the private patio overhung with pergola and natural shade. Deep padded sun loungers, a table and chairs for each home. It's very private, quiet all day and it feels very safe. The Tochni Tavern, for breakfast and dinner (and anything in between) is a 15 minute walk. We didn't have a car, preferring to walk. There are some steep hill parts. Anyone with mobility issues may find the walk difficult but there is car parking available. With the amount of food offered you will need some exercise! Every meal we had was of the highest quality, beautifully presented and lots of it. The half board option is excellent value for money. Cocktails are fabulous. Try the Aristotle. The owners and staff are most welcoming and friendly. I cannot praise them highly enough. Friendly, smiling, helpful. The village is quiet and there is a useful shop. Though infrequent there are buses.

It was very comfortable with everything we needed. The jacuzzi was great. Outside we had an area with the great view on a valley. On breakfast we had a set of diverse dishes with local accent. Highly recommended.

Exceeded expectations. The hosts are very kind and clearly put a lot of thought into making sure the guests have everything they need. The kitchen had a little bit of everything I needed and some thoughtful additions. The view is so calming. The village is small and charming, but with lovely dining options and a market. It felt like a more authentic experience than I might have gotten in Larnaca, Limassol or Paphos, but it was a reasonable drive to anything - beaches, other towns, mountains. I truly hope to return.

    We stayed there for a music festival, Fengaros, that takes place in Kato Drys, another village very close to Tochni. We booked the danae traditional house. The room was nice and clean. Perfect for 2 people. The food at the taverna was good, and everyone on the stuff was very helpful and friendly. Mr. Sofronis, especially, who made sure we could ask for whatever we needed at any time.

    We liked this hotel. The rooms were quite big, air conditions in all rooms. Apartament has everything you need. It is in a very nice village. If you want to feel authentic atmosphere, you have to stay here😉

    Nice village which is partly owned by the hotel. Our villa had a beautiful view of the village. Good organisation of space. I travelled with my friends, our dog and my partner and we had the same villa, but still had a separate place for us. Each dormitory has a conditioner, the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is alright. The swimming pool with the view is nice.

    The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were greeted with lemonades and promptly assisted with our baggage, which was a nice touch. The hotel consists of several houses scattered throughout the village of Tochni, each restored to maintain their traditional appearance. The tavern offers a nice selection of breakfast options. Overall, it was a well-maintained, beautiful place for a relaxing vacation.

    Gorgeous, rustic rooms in a traditional village with an amazing taverna attached. One of our favourite places in Cyprus after two years living here. If you want sleek white and everything new then this isn’t for you. If you want delicious home-cooked food, a super peaceful location and accommodation with character (think antique lace samplers, exposed beams, earthen jugs) then this is the place for you! Breakfast wasn’t as good as it could have been but everything was so lovely we didn’t mind.

    I was very pleased with the accommodation that was offered to me. The staff was excellent and very willing to help with anything. The food was delicious and homemade cooked in a traditional way made by their local products. The apartment and the restaurant had amazing views and it gave us the chance to look at the village from all different angles. It was also very peaceful and quiet and we could relax.

    We lived in the Adamos apartments 5 and 6 within the Cyprus villages accommodation and were very satisfied with the facilities, environment and view from the private terrace, facing towards south/sun. Tochni is a nice authentic village, was very quiet to sleep (we stayed in the end of February). We enjoyed our lunches and dinners at the Tochni Tavern restaurant, which is located in the same premises – we tried other places near by as well, but this can be a food destination by itself if you wander around the area.
