This location was a very close drive from the airport and we needed a place to sleep upon our arrival to Czech Republic from the U.S. and this was an excellent choice for that. Another of our criterial for location was near by restaurants to get a decent meal after our very long flight, we found excellent restaurants near by.

Gemuetliche unterkunft bei prag is located in Smečno, just 23 miles from St. Vitus Cathedral and 23 miles from Prague Castle. The apartment has access to a restaurant.

The welcoming was personal and very pleasant, nice to check in in person. The apt is very well equipped and organized, there are some snacks a coffee machine with pods and chocolate and a cattle with tea bags. In the fridge you’ll find a bottle of water, lemon extract and some tiny bottles of milk for the coffee. Apt is very stylish and spacious and it even had a fan which was very useful in August. The beds are comfortable and clean. The shower room is very spacious with everything needed in it. Surrounding is very nice and quiet and although it is 4 minutes drive from airport it’s surprisingly quiet at night. From the window it is possible to see the airplanes landing and taking off which is really fun for the kids.

It’s great. Nice setting. Restaurant was exceptional. Kind staff and secure bike lockup inside the very clean garage where there were bike tools and air pump!
