This apartment is the best! It is huge with a wonderful balcony, hosts are very kind, they allowed us to use another room in the morning and leave our bags until our room is ready. They also brought us our bags to the public ferry after the check out since we went to visit Karnak. Breakfast was great with a wonderful view from the terrace. If you want to experience the real Luxor, you should definitely stay here, as the nature and surrounding is incredible.

This place is a little paradise on earth. When you wake up earlier in the morning and open the door, you see the balloons flying over the Valley of Kings. The food is literally hand-picked from the field and so delicious! Some of the best I've had in Egypt, and same thing goes for the fresh juices and lemonades. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful, in particular a big shout out to Karim who - without me asking - got up before me to make sure I didn't sleep through my sunrise balloon pickup. I was sceptical about being in a camp at first, but the security is very good. There are cameras, a 24h guard and I could lock my hut. All in all I absolutely adored it, and it's amazing value for money.

Blue Nile is a must stop in Luxor. We booked last minute, and couldn’t had been happier in this place. 5-star service, no kidding. Too cheap for what it offers. The staff is amazingly kind and caring. I’d like to highlight MAHMOUD, which was by far the best staff person we encountered in Egypt (maybe in the world?). He did everything he could to double/triple check if everything was perfect. Again, 5-star service for a very low price. The room is large, good A/C, clean facilities, good bathroom. The hotel have a in-house restaurant which is very good. Breakfast is also pretty good.

I am a female solotraveler and I have been so comfortable and happy in Oasis. For the first 3 days I stayed in a place directly on the Nile but there was a high tourist turnover and noise of the boats on the Nile, so I needed a silent place, after reading the reviews I booked one night here and extended my stay! So I am writing this from the terrace. :) What I love here most is the peaceful athmosphere with chirping birds and the soothing sound of the pool water when they run it. I absolutely love my small room, with a big bed, beautiful window and pretty modern white furniture. The entire place is super clean, Hasan is always around cleaning somewhere and available with his nice smile. Laundry is available, too and they offer tea all day long. Wi-fi is fast, if you are a remote worker that is great. Good food, safe family environment and just one block next to the cafes on the riverside without the hustle of the Nile River, what to look for more. Summary: I definitely recommend this place.

This place is just heaven. Really THE best hotel to stay in Luxor. The owners Mahmoud and his brother Mohammed created their own little paradise in Luxor, and were willing to share it with us. They made our stay very pleasant and were so helpful. They always asked if we were ok, if our room was ok, or if we needed anything else. As they are locals to the area, they also have many connections, which we made use of when organizing some tours. And they are very sincere and honest about the prices, as their main goal is to make their guests happy and feel at home, and not to make a quick buck from organizing tours. They also cook delicious Egyptian style dishes, made from fresh ingredients bought on the same day. Tasneem Palace is conveniently located on the West Bank, near the public pier. It only takes a few minutes by foot, in case you would like to visit the East bank side of Luxor. Their rooms have everything you need. The beds are comfortable with nice warm blankets, a spacious bathroom and we even had a living room with a small kitchen and a refrigerator and stove. How incredible is that 👍!! All in all, just amazing. I can’t praise Tasneem Palace enough, as it is just such a great place to stay. You won’t regret it, as Mahmoud and Mohammed will make sure you will have an incredible time.

The apartment was excellent. Spacious inside with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the banana farms and with views of the mountains. Amazing sunsets. Great facilities, everything you could need in the apartment— very well furnished. Breakfast was large and delicious. Salah also ordered us food from a nearby restaurant multiple times, which was delicious. But best of all were the people— Mohamed, Salah, and Rajap were fantastic. Everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. They connected us with Abdullah to drive us to the sites and he was also great and very laid back. Moonlight was the best place we’ve stayed in Egypt and one of the best we’ve stayed ever. Note there is more of a tipping culture in Egypt than other places I’ve traveled, so we made sure to tip everyone well for all their help, picking us up food, etc.

There is a great reason why the Tara Apartments is ranked high for locations on the Luxor's West Bank. Mohammed, the owner and operator of Tara Apartments was an excellent host to our family of four (two parents, two teenagers) during an overnight stay on June 8, 2023. His communication with us prior to, during, and after our stay in the area while waiting to board our Nile Cruise the next day was always thorough and prompt to respond to our questions and requests for assistance. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and always went out of his way to help us and recommending best places to eat, in particular the Nile Soul, a great place to get authentic and delicious home cooked meals. Regarding the apartment, it was simple yet well suited our family's needs - very spacious with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, and air conditioning (especially needed for the summer months and increasing temperature while visited). The location is also in a prime location for families and backpackers looking to escape the high end hotels and prices; located on the Nile's West Bank and within the friendly and welcoming local community, a short walk from the ferry boat docks, and directly across from the Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Mohammed can help you arrange for any of your needs on a moment's notice. Our booking cost that we paid for our stay on June 8 was ridicously low for the high value we received, and under the care of Mohammed and his staff. By the way, when you stay there, don't forget to sign their guest book and join the satisfied traveller's from around the world like us!

    Great villa with a great pool and always available host. This is perfect for a dip after a super hot Egyptian day. Staff were constantly cleaning and maintaining the property, the host is always available and there is a free shuttle to the ferry crossing. Would have been easily 10/10 hadn't it been for the issue below.

    Great place to stay! We had the appartment at the ground floor with the garden where we used to chill out in the evening There is a kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower and the bedroom. There is also a washing machine. At the corner of the street there is a small supermarket so we could buy there the things we needed. Mohamed - the owner of Villa Diletta - was very very helpful every time we needed him Everybody was very kind Amazing experience!

    After a busy day viewing temples and tombs and trying to avoid the over-zealous local traders, it was great to relax and chill out at Rose Villa. Owner was always in contact with any issues and helped with transport. One of the best holiday homes we have stayed at, can't recommend it highly enough.
