We had a delightful breakfast of homemade produce in a dining room with so much Spanish character and Gertru was so accommodating and helpful. She waited up for us because we had a very late flight into Alicante airport. We simply could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The location was superb. We had booked for daily tours and the location of the apartment came in handy to go for the pickup points by walk. The supermarket is just opposite to the apartment. The apartment was great, maintained clean with 3 rooms and with A/C and coolers. The kitchen was adequate with basic things available. Beatriz the host was always available over whatsapp for any quick questions or clarifications. Overall a time well spent in Alicante, Spain and with the right place to stay! Will visit again if we plan for a tour again :)

We had rented a car, so easy access to a major highway and street parking in front of the property were great. It is also located just a 10-15 minute walk from a shopping center that three grocery stores, a drugstore, a laundromat, a gym, a few assorted shops and several restaurants and bars.

The house is very nice, comfy and clean. We asked for an early check-in and the hostess waited us to give us keys and explain everything about the house and the area. We felt our selves as at home because we could find all the necessary equipment in the kitchen, lots of towels, blankets and nice stuff which make you feel comfortable like coffee for the coffee machine or cold beer in the fridge. The sea view from the balcony was amazing. We liked spending time there sunbathing. Also the beach is not far away and can be reached by foot 10-15 mins. If you have a car, there is a parking place for it. The area is safe, the house is a part of a closed community.

    Villamónica is a wonderful property with good access to the beach and the city of Elche. Everything was excellent: the sympathy of Mónica and Fred, the delicious and carefully prepared breakfast, the spacious room, the beautiful swimming pool.     What an amazing find, I could not rate this wonderful villa higher. The property was spotless and so comfortable. The owners were fantastic and offering free airport transfers is why I booked. I am so glad I did. Perfect stay to the end of my holiday. Absolutely 5 stars better then any hotel because of the real personal touches. Thank you Monica and Freddy.

    VILLAMÓNICA is a beautiful quiet oasis located close to the motorway and the airport, we stayed whilst on route to the north however I would not hesitate in returning for longer. Monica and Fred were fabulous hosts and made us feel at home in their property. The rooms are all newly renovated with everything you could possibly need. We travelled with two small dogs who were also treated like royalty, they loved running around the gardens and exploring.
