I think up until now this was our best rent ever, loved everything - isolated location of the property, the garden with so many little beautiful details in it, many different places you can relax, sunbeds, variety of patio furniture, hammocks, it felt like even if this place is fully occupied with guests it can never feel crowded. One thing to mention which was a huge plus to us - cicadas! There are so many and they can be so loud at times that you can't hear yourself think, it's beautiful :) Aside from this, all the regular expectations are there - very clean, comfortable rooms, private parking.

We loved the terrace, the view, the garden full of olive trees, the proximity to Palekastro, the beaches, and most of all, the great communication with the wonderful host, Andrea. The space is a perfect base to explore the east of Crete, but also to find rest and calmness. 100% recommended!

    We spent three nice days at Sofia's house. There was everything we needed, we felt like at home. The hosts were very kind, every morning a little surprise waited us at the door. The house was very quiet and perfectly clean. Parking at the nearby church. Zakros is a lovely village with some good tavernas and shops. We drove around by car, near Zakros you can find very beautiful, we could even say one of the most beautiful beaches during our three-week trip. We would definitely stay there again.     Perfect location above the village with stunning view over the olive tree fields and the sea. Perfect base for some hiking and beach. Very friendly staff and owner. This is the place to be in Crete if you look for some quiet place away from the mass tourism.
