The location, and the rooms. The kitchen area is nice and big. The woman who runs Guesthouse was very kind and helpful. She is my number 1 reason I would recommend Guesthouse Skogafoss.

Everything about our stay was exceptional, the house was clean, the room was spacious and I can’t even begin to mention the bathroom. I’m so sad we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast on both days we were there, because the food was delicious! the host was even kind enough to message us about the possibility of seeing the aurora, super thoughtful.

Great shared kitchens which were spotless with lots of pots and pans. Great shared bathrooms. I imagine it would be perfect for watching the northern lights from the pods deck as there is no light pollution, but it was cloudy the night we stayed.
