Liked it so much we stayed an extra night! Exceptional staff. They even dropped us at the train station in the morning so we could have an excursion. How this is only a 3 star hotel I will never know. Go here, you won't regret it. Amazing value

I forgot something in the room the first time I stayed there. The staff held the item for me until I could make it back another weekend and stay a second time. They offered to mail it with cash on delivery, but I looked forward to another excuse to visit again and explore new ski areas. They’re a shining example of integrity! I really liked the Olaf snowman that someone built outside the main entrance. :)

This place has a lot of character and very comfortable and cozy. The dining area is overall a great place to unwind, watch a little tv. Dinner was wonderful and breakfast was good. There’s an onsen hotel a couple minutes walk from the guesthouse where for 500 yen you can try the indoor and outdoor onsen. This is a backpackers guesthouse and for what it is, I had a great experience

Lots of room, a whole different vibe than a hotel. Host was very accommodating when it came to checking in a little early. much appreciated.

It was a beautiful traditional style house . The host was extremely kind and showed us the facilities. It was a shared house but there are separate entrances so it is like having a two bedroom home to yourself.
